黄静瑶出生于中国广州，现居纽约和广州。她的创作以摄影为基础，延伸至拼接、装置，以及场地特定项目。通过符号学视野下的分析和理解，对日常摄影进行重新定义和二次创作，在生活空间中探寻时间和记忆的规律，并且随着时间的不断推进，将当下的记忆碎片从意识空间实体化至物理空间之中。
